Engaged...

pledged to be married; betrothed: an engaged couple

Four years ago I feel deeply in love with this man. (pictures are from that time) Our story is rather in depth (as are most) but truth be told this man makes me happy! It is a bit strange to be "engaged" two kids later. We have loved each other and committed ourselves a long time ago. We are the type that marriage is more of a legality, therefore the whole engagement stage and "marriage" ceremony isn't a big to do for us. In no means am I minimizing the experience for others because I LOVE weddings and the celebration of ones marriage. We just aren't those people. So, our engagement story is simple and our marriage will probably follow suite. We haven't set a date and will probably not make many, if any, arrangements. But we are "an engaged couple" who are currently in the "pledged to be married" phase;) I love this man thru and thru and will one day (soon) proudly become a "King."
