Geese feeding videos..

Feeding the geese was quite the experience. We even saw a Heron. Liv enjoyed walking up and down the sidewalk and would have swam with the geese had we let her. Aunt Shannon was in charge of this. Harper was having a blast with Grandma throwing the bread and talking about the little minos that were eating the bread too. I was capturing the memories and taking in the simple things that make this life so much fun.

Favorite People, Ducks, Lunch, & Park.. oh my...

WHOA..what a fun outing we had with two of our favorite people. Grandma Dorsey & Aunt Shay joined us to feed ducks, eat a picnic lunch, and play at the park. The two of them will especially love the pictures I posted of them eating their lunch;) Thanks to these amazing ladies for being the rock in my life. This was a great September day!

A fun fall day...

On this lovely fall day we spent the afternoon at the Gardens here in Omaha. Aunt Patti accompanied us for the day. We ate lunch at the cafeteria with cousin Ian (he is a gardener there) and then headed outside to soak up the fall air, flowers, trees, and leaves. It was a perfect day! This is definately my favorite time of year. Thanks Aunt Patti for a fun day!

Bestie?

I guess that is the new age term for your best friend..."bestie." I don't know, I don't think I can pull that word off. It seems rather awkard to me. Another sign of my "getting older" realization. Here are some cell phone pics of Harper and her "bestie." Ryder's mom, Sonja, and I took these two "besties" to the Y for a little swim session in August. We also frequent the park scene together. Ryder became a big brother on Saturday to a beautiful baby brother named Asher. We can't wait to watch Asher grow up with our girls. Blessed we are, with good friends in our lives!

Spouts...

Who doesn't love water spouts aka splash pad? Near our house there is a little park with a splash pad. The girls loved to romp through the water during the hot summer days. As I look at these love cell phone pics I am thankful for those HOT days and am holding on to the last days of warmer weather.

More zoo adventures....

The zoo is a favorite place for the girls. We aren't partial to which zoo, the weather in which we go, or the people who accompany us. It is always a great time. This particular adventure, Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Frank took us to the Lincoln zoo. Cousin Kenle and Grandma Dorsey came along too. Harper rode the horses and pet a mouse. The kids and grandmas fed the goats and llamas. As long as Liv is allowed to walk, she is one happy camper. Another adventure down in the history books with some of our favorite people.
