These are lyrics by one of my fav female artists India Arie...always remember you are NOT your hair, because some days it just may not be workin for ya and you are so much more than your hair:) This is a pic of you getting your "hair did" in the morning just to tame it until you get ready for the day.

Dog bowls

You have this obsession with playing in the dog's (Bailey & Macey's) water bowls. It doesn't matter how many times that you are reminded not to play in the bowls or placed in "time-out" for refusing to follow directions, you continue to migrate back to the bowls and splash around. You sometimes place yourself in time out, which is just too cute:) Is it a big huge deal to play in the water?? Probably not, but it's something we really don't want you to do due to the water mess it creates on the floor and yourself. We did get you a water table to play outside with (which you love) but that doesn't fix your obsession with those dang water bowls. Here are some pics of you in action:



Look at your smiling face in the last picture. So happy to be playing in the bowls. Too bad your rents and grandparents have to rain on your parade. Bummer!

Washers

A fun game was played on Easter (it was also your cousin Kenle's b-day party) by the adults called "washers". It's kind of a mix between horse shoes and bean bag toss. You have a team of two and you stand opposite of each other. There are these plat forms with holes in them and you try to throw these "washers" into on of the three wholes and you score points. Anyways, your dad and uncle Jay played your grandma & great grandma. It was a HOOT. Guess who won? The ladies...whoop whoop:) Here is some pics of them in action:

Easter weekend seems like so long ago…. that’s just how far behind I am on keeping up with the blog. My life has been full with driving to and from work (one hr each way) and then of course working (M-F), playing outside with you in the beautiful weather, and sleeping. By the end of the day I am one exhausted pregnant momma. I am not complaining at all, I'm just stating the facts. Oh ya and I've had some sister time with my girls, I can't forget that:)
As far as Easter goes, it was a great weekend with the fam. It had been a long time since we had seen our family in Loup City. We hung out at the lake, played in the sand box, and went on an Easter egg hunt. It was a nice relaxing weekend spent as a family! Since moving home we are amongst family all the time and we love it! We are blessed!
