Happy 3 week birthday!

Happy three weeks our precious little girl. Wow, three weeks and you have grown so much. Things you enjoy are swinging, sitting in your bouncy, sitting and talking with daddy (actually you don't talk but it seems you are attentively listening), playing in the jungle, sucking on your binky, eating:), taking a bath, finding your hand to suck on them, car rides (even three hour ones to and from Nebraska),and being loved and held by all your family and friends! Things you don't enjoy are having your hands covered by blankets or clothes, an upset tummy, and not being able to eat on command the exact moment you want to. You have such an easy going temperament. It seems that is similar to your behavior inside my tummy....
We celebrated your first holiday last week and road tripped to " the good life". In route you traveled through Missouri, Iowa, and ended in Nebraska. In Nebraska you saw so many people: Aunts and Uncles, Great Aunts & Uncles, Grandparents and great g-parents, cousins (second and third), and friends of mommy's and daddy's. It was quite the adventures visiting everyone and you were a rock star the entire time. Of course everyone adored you and showered you with love and gifts. We had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend!
Next, your Aunt Kate came to Kansas and stayed a few days with us. It seems as though the days flew and before we knew it, it was time for her departure. We did get some things accomplished besides adoring you. We got everything ready for Aunt Kate to make your crib blanket and curtains, we hung pictures in your room, and even had time for Kate and Kan wine time:) After she left you dad and I had a couple days by ourselves with you. Next, Liz and Ian are to visit this weekend along with your Aunt Shannon. Then, next week your Great Aunt Susi is visiting us for a couple days. Lots more adventures to be had! We love you to the moon and back!
Love,
your momma
