after the show...a special delicious treat!
My mother is amazing! She shines from the inside out and loves her "children" (all of us) with all her heart. It was so beautiful to see her excitement as the girls' watched the play "Diary of a Worm." She and g-pa gifted us season tickets to The Rose and she accompanied us to the first show. The play was great and the kids did exceptionally well. I wasn't worried about Harper but had apprehensions about Liv sitting still for an hour. Give her a program, a pencil, and her g-ma by her side and she was all about it! SO FUN!!! Harper was super engulfed and very intense as she watched the play. We have read the series (Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider, and Diary of a Fly) every night in the past week leading up to the play. Harper would crack a smile every now and again but had her eyes glued to all the stimulation that was on stage. I thoroughly enjoyed the show too! We stopped by the Orange Leaf for a special snack before heading home. We loaded them up on sugar and fun then wondered why it took so long for them to go to sleep?! Yay for a fun Friday night!
