Grandpa weekend...

Two weekends ago Grandpa Dorsey, the girls, and I headed out to the lake.  Teaf joined us on Saturday after he got off work (@ a promotion gig)  Everyone else that is usually there stayed back.  It was a nice relaxing weekend with the g-pa.  We tended to the garden and played outside in the beautiful weather.  Although the garden had not been taken care of for a few weeks there was still food to be picked. The girls LOVE to garden and have fun gathering all the tomatoes, picking dead marigold heads off the plant, and playing "store" with the food that we picked.  They can spend hours with us while we try to manage the craziness of dead plants, bug eaten food, and savoring the tomatoes that will rippen in a brown paper bag over time.  Take notice of Harper playing soccer with a basketball, a helmet and gardening gloves on.  Also take note of the neon green shorts.  She has decided that her favorite outift at the lake is those shorts with this navy blue animal t-shirt.  She wants to wear it everyday and will hide them at night so I won't put them in the laundry.  In the morning she trys to get dressed before I am around so she can get that outfit back on.  Funny thing is she doesn't have any favorites at home, it's just a lake thing:) As usual grandpa played hard with the girls.  They love their g-pa time no doubt about that.  Me too!
