BLESSED!!!
Little Ms. Harper I can't tell you how blessed we are! Your aunties Shannon, Kate, and Amy came to visit us Friday night until Saturday morning. They took the 3 hour trip to stay less than 24, now that's dedication. They arrived at 1 a.m. and we stayed up chatting until 4. Oh my gosh how I love them so much! They were so excited to feel you move about in my belly, see your room and new house, and talk about your upcoming arrival. Your aunt Shannon thinks that you will arrive next Wednesday Oct. 29th. I must say that would be nice. Either way you will come when you are ready!:) Kate made a comment that she never laughs as much as when we are all together....it's so true. I can't wait for you to meet your aunties! They are the BEST! Oh ya and they brought us some more of your belongings (high chair, big toys, bouncer, and such) plus a comfy couch to put in our living room. Thanks girls!

another good idea????
Q: Who thinks it's a good idea to be 9 months prego with 19 days to go and drive 3 hours to a concert in Omaha, Nebraska???
A: I did!
On Sunday October 19th, 2008 your aunts Shannon, Kate, Jamie and your mother went to see Joshua Radin and Missy Higgins in concert in Omaha, Nebraska. They played at this little dive bar called "The Waiting Room." It was a small bar so it was an intimate setting unlike you would experience at a big huge venue. I was less than 10 feet away from the stage!!! Your mother LOVES Joshua Radin's music. I have been jamming his new c.d the past few months with you in my belly. Seeing him live in concert made me love his music even more. My favorite part of the concert was when he would talk between songs about what inspired him to write each song. Joshua opened up for Missy Higgins who is also a fantastic musician. She is from Australian and has good energy about her. She had these awesome purple pants on with no shoes and of course her australian accent was to die for. We had a fabulous girls night out! This was your very first concert. Your aunt Shannon even bought you a Joshua Radin onesie:)

A good idea???
Q: Who thinks it's a good idea to be 9 months prego with 20 days to go and move??
A: WE DO:)! I thought that you might experience the first month of your life at the lovely "Falls" apartment complex but it turns out we are blessed to move into a two bedroom house just before you arrive. CRAZY! Right at this moment your dad, g-pa & g-ma are moving all of our belongings into our new house on Cedar St. in Roeland Park, KS. You and I get out the whole moving process due to you being in my belly:) I can't wait for you to see your new room. Stay tuned for more pictures!!

34 reasons I love your father...
Harper,
You dad's birthday was on Sunday, October 5th. In spirit of his birthday I wanted to let you know the 34 reasons why I love your father...
34. He is a big huge goof ball
32. He makes me laugh A LOT (like lots of times a day)
31. He is personable and gets a long with anyone
30. He gets me to see other points of view other than my own
29. He is passionate about recycling, music, and gaming (doesn't matter what kind of game... sports, video, board, etc.)
28. He loves to cook and grocery shop too
27. He loves to travel and is a great travel partner (hence the work T & K Adventures)
26. He isn't afraid to say "I'm sorry"
25. He gets me (most of the time.. even when he doesn't really get it, he understands)
24. He likes to rearrange and organize the furniture, drawers, closet.
23. He has a green thumb and gets excited about the growth of our plants
22. He is kind hearted
21. He gives thoughtful gifts
20. He is good at math and managing money (which you will learn I am not so good at but working on the latter part)
19. He has a carefree spirit with a balance of reality
18. He is beautiful inside and out
17. He is open to change
16. He gives great massages (the doctor ordered him to massage me 2x a day until you arrive...it stimulates you to move:) U already like his massages too
15. He makes me feel safe, like no matter what happens everythings gonna be alright

13. He likes girlie music and is not afraid to sing it outloud
12. He is comfortable with who he is
11. He loves to fish and he puts my bait on for me b/c I'm too afraid

Where did September go baby??
Baby,
September flew by with lots of adventures happening both in your life in my belly and your momma's life in the outside world. As of today you have been in my tummy for 34 weeks. Seems like such a long time yet other times I feel like it was just yesterday that I was peeing on a stick to find out you were on your way. I am so ampted for your arrival. This month your dad and I starting "nesting." We brought some of your belongings from your grandparents house in Lincoln, put your clothes in there place, and had a trial run setting up the co-sleeper where you will spend the first few months of your life. We picked out your crib and your bedding too:) While we were in Nebraska this month we visited your great grandmother Schuett and brought in KFC for dinner. She loves to eat KFC, it's always a fun treat.
This month your dad and I went to the comedy club and saw Colin Quinn (from Saturday Night Live). We recieved free tickets from a manager at Blockbuster. (random) It was awesome, we laughed so hard at both Colin and the opening act our face muscles were sore. I bet you were inside of me going "what the heck is going on out there." Your dad and I (plus Deanna from your dad's work, her daughter Shannon, and her two kids) also went to the Art Festival at the Plaza in KC. We heard a great jazz band and walked around seeing art work from all over the U.S.
My friend Kerri and I attended Pete and Diana's wedding in po-dunk Kansas. Caney, KS to be exact. It was quite a haul there and back in one day but well worth it. It was a beautiful ceremony and your momma even got down on the dance floor.
This month I played with your soon to be playmate Brennan. He is four months old and absolutely adorable. He will be here to show you the ropes of baby-hood and his momma is a great resource to ask new mommy questions for me. Plus his parents are just cool people. Your dad calls them "the canadians"...(he's crazy-in a good way...you'll see what I mean)
On to you...You move about on and off throughout the day. The other morning I was up at the wee hours of the morning and you were punching me with your hand-i think... I LOVED IT. I was mesmerized laying there, thinking about you. I love when you move. I always try to get people's hands there to feel you, but your pretty quick with your movements, and then your settled back into your snuggle zone. You do give your momma some serious heartburn. An old wives tale said that means you'll have lots of hair....we'll have to see?? The lastest and greatest is the feeling that I have to go to the bathroom and then nothing comes out. You must be pushing on my bladder. Well, you have about 5 weeks to go until your big debut. Unitl then you shall grow and get the strength to live in this CRAZY world. I love you baby! See ya soon...
