Santa Library event..

Last Saturday this momma treked through the first snowfall of the year to attend story time, arts & crafts time, and a visit with Santa at one of the library branches. It was pretty narly driving to and fro the event. This particular library is across town. In good weather it would have been no big deal, but in snowy conditions it was a bit of a task. We made it and had a blast! Harper told Santa that she wants a horse. A yellow one. A bear. A purple one. Santa then suggests to Harper that she might want a doll? I don't think she was too sure about this whole asking for specific items (which we are totally happy with). And Santa wasn't too sure what to do with the fact that a 3 year old wants a horse and not a pretend one. Liv was not a fan of Santa and therefore didn't sit on his lap. (which I didn't push) She was just happy to be walking around the event. This was the first time we have been to this library and it was a pretty cool spot. There is a rec center attached to it, which is where the events were after story time. It was well organized and free...which is always a plus for this momma!
